I chose not to have any flu vaccinations many years ago, because I'd never had flu [ albeit I had often been exposed to it] and I trusted the robustness of my immune system to continue protect me from infection.
I read up all I could find about COVID-19 and came to the same conclusion regarding my immune system and the futility of trying to immunise against rapidly changing viruses, like flu, the common cold and COVID-19.
At no time have I ever regretted my decision.

my conservative brother is of the opinion that the human body doesn't need any "chemicals or toxins" to survive, so he opted out of vaccinating his two children, and stopped taking vaccines himself as well. While I don't know whether or not he regrets the choice, his family is easily the most chronically ill family I know. They're just always sick, and it lasts forever. My brother is a pretty health-conscious guy and he works out and eats well, but when he gets sick, it lasts for a fucking month. His kids have missed so much school that they basically have to be in summer school just to catch up. I feel bad for them because they didn't make this choice, but they're certainly suffering the consequences.
