What I am saying is that we have a lot of original text preserved, scholars who spend their lives dividing the truth from the lies, and evidence of some of the bible being true based on the good fruit of people who apply it to their life, like OP was talking about. The Bible got it right, but we must study it to learn what is true and what isn't and apply the good to our lives and to others lives.
