OP have we managed to actually confirmm these are bots with hard evidence? Or is it just speculation? This is likely. We still don't think it's a bunch of fed posters paid to post 24 hours a day. It's still more than likely to be a network of bot accounts. Not to say there aren't most definitely agents paid to lurk this board. But I'd wager it's less than 10. They certainly aren't being paid to manually upload images and react to things 24 hours a day.

You have to think about the public perception of this board when those fed contracts were likely made. At the time, even (4+4)chan was relatively new.
