Hey, would one of you nerds mind taking a look at my solution to the mind-body problem?
So, the basic idea behind holographic object theory is that objects aren’t really “things” in the traditional sense. They’re not elementary units or primitives. Instead, they’re the result of resolving a bunch of binary oppositions—called subject-dyads—through a kind of interpretive mediation via interactions with other subject-dyads we call objects.
Think of a subject-dyad like spin up / spin down, or location A / not-A. These oppositional pairs don’t become “real” until they’re interpreted by something else—another structure in the system. When that happens, and enough of them get resolved, you get what my model calls a holographic object.
Something engages with something else, and in doing so, the system locks into a configuration that counts as an object. Until then, you’ve got potentialities, not facts.
The core equation just formalizes this process: you sum over dyadic pairs that have undergone recursive closure, weighted by whether they’ve actually resolved. The rest stays suspended in potential.
The reason I'm interested in someone analyzing it from here is that it turns out to be surprisingly good at predicting things. In some of the simulations I've run, it almost matched performance from well-established physical models—CERN-level stuff—without invoking any external wavefunction collapse or observer effect.
Against the ACDM (Lambda Cold Dark Matter Model) it spun up sub-par on global dynamics, near-parity in specific subdomains though (especially in Planck void simulations when interpretive density was modeled). Against the Lindblad Master Equation, my model came within 10% predictive accuracy on ensemble behavior.
I'd appreciate if anyone could try and break the model or run it through a more rigorous battery of tests.
