Living a good life where you leave it better than you found it, doesn't have to be a Christian one.
A lot of the advice on leading a good life according to the bible, is common sense stuff that you don't have to assume the presence of a creator god to live by.
If I lived the good life according to the bible without having faith in the Christian god, because of a lack of evidence for the existence of said god, why would he fault me for it once it ended?

I'm not refusing to have faith anon, I just haven't seen any indicators of any gods actually existing.

If god made this world just for us why would he create an almost infinite universe with trillions of galaxies? The sun, the moon, maybe a few planets would suffice. The Big Bang is the more logical explanation, obviously.

But also like, god does in fact have the full context for all your actions, and would probably condemn you as fairly as possible. Certainly eternal punishment for finite sins is a roman invention.

I chose to really live in whatever fleeting moments i had rather than waste my entire existence in pointless subservience to you. If eternal suffering is the price i have to pay for that, i will scream and protest and beg and swear to change, anything to get out of it. But it'll all be lies. I regret nothing and if given the choice to follow God or rebel against him i will choose the second option again every single time.
