just me but I prefer upscaling, dont have a 4090 so it saves some time to only upscale aftere weeding out the duds. Hires I think requires more VRAM, upscales the whole pic at once, and before VAE, which makes it less lossy(?). img2img upscaling uses tiling, which can introduce some weird artifacts.

I can't take anyone seriously who says the Linux desktop experience is in any way equal to Windows or Mac in terms of usability. Maybe if you're using your OS as a glorified bootloader for Firefox but even that's stretching it.

It's not that I'm "too stupid" for the command line. It's that I wanna do something entirely different, but Linux (being a subpar OS) forces me to fuck around in the terminal for 2 hours just to get to square one. If I wanna install a piece of software on Windows, I double-click the .exe and it works. On Linux I have to read an entire user manual to get to know all the "quirks", then follow a 30-step installation guide that breaks half way through because it was written with Ubuntu in mind and I'm on Fedora or whatever so some dependency just breaks and nukes my entire install.

Did you give it a try? I feel much more confortable using Opensuse than Windows. I can admit that Windows 10 runs fine, but Windows 11 is a mess, making the linux desktop experience much better.
