Explain to me what is "Democratic" about this.
Why do (((Judges))) get to override the will of the people?
That was 31 years ago boomer
You had to dig really deep to come up with ragebait
In California judges are elected through voting. She was democratically elected and did what her voters wanted her to do.
Jewish judge
1994
You faggots never quit.
In California judges are elected through voting. She was democratically elected and did what her voters wanted her to do.
Not federal district judges, like what she was. They are nominated by the president (in this case Carter) and then confirmed by Congress.
Now you know what a representational democracy means
The same thing is happening in Missouri except it's the state legislation going against the vote of the people.
The pattern is clear. Ignore those trying to distract from it.
It's totally cool for republican legislators to override it tho
Shit Anon. You sound like you know your way around the jew dicks.
Judges make rulings based on laws. Laws are at least in theory the will of the people and not people who are trying to break the laws.
If you wanted to break a law legally you would have to go through the process of dismantling it in Congress first.
Lol this was an activist judge, they make rulings based on feelings.
she looks like she likes to poop
A califormia judge just blocks Trump EO on Harvard 2 days ago.
Harvard is not in califormia!!
Trump breaks dozens of laws every day to subvert the will of the people.
You're not supposed to tailor laws or EOs for political activism, like Trump does every day
Says who?
things that happened 30 years ago don't matter
Wait until you find out how long ago the holocaust was.
Trump is cutting taxes
Trump is reducing spending
You don't need to convince me, anon. I'm already a Trump supporter.

It matters a lot. This explains much about why California is such a shithole that it is today. 30 years ago it may not have been perfect, but it was massively better than what it is now. This judge overturning the voters and forcing the state to fund illegals caused them to flood into the state like locusts, devouring everything and ruining it. This didn't happen overnight. That decision all those years ago set this into motion.
Why has (((Zion Don))) packed his cabinet with AIPAC superstars, and acted as the anti-free speech president of the century? I voted for (((Trump))) and now I think it's time to suck start a shotgun because I'm clearly irredeemably retarded as fuck
The US Constitution
I'm sure that money will trickle down this time, just two more weeks
What makes California a shithole exactly? Try to understand that when you never travel anywhere and you say things like this it makes you sound idiotic.
trickle down
This isn't a zero sum game. Instead of dividing a single pie up, just let people make more pies.
What makes California a shithole exactly?
This video is LA. I rest my case.
In what way does cutting taxes for the 0.1% richest Americans helping "the people" to start and run their own successful businesses?
You don't even have a passport, do you?
Then all that money you saved will be spent at the grocery store because you just made a bunch of agricultural workers illegal and kicked them out
Enjoy paying 20 bucks for a head of lettuce, and 10 bucks for a tomato, that salad you enjoy is going to be really expensive
In what way does cutting taxes for the 0.1% richest Americans helping "the people" to start and run their own successful businesses?
Tax cuts are for everyone, dummy. They're never just "for the rich". And the less government bureaucracy and taxes imposed on the economy, the more the economy blossoms. Lao Tzu wrote about this in the Tao Te Ching.
Antonin Scalia was also an Activist Judge according to you morons, because he wrote that illegal immigrants are entitled to due process.
Dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. - you get dictatorship of the wealthy.
You want democracy for the masses - you need dictatorship of the proletariet. IE communism. Otherwise, fuck off. No one cares. Get with the program or fuck yourself.
Be glad. They would have been spending more money not let, as illegal immigrants don't get that much in public benefits.
How many fucking studies and times do we have to show you - austerity measures don't save money, they cost more and make things worse.
If you really wanted to get rid of illegal immigrants like you fucking say you do - stop voting for people to shit on their countries and forcing them to flee. Stop taking in other countries bougies who set up networks here to rebels who fuck up their home countries.
No one leaves their homes because it's good... they leave because it's fucked up, and it's fucked up because of America 95% of the time.
That skidrow, homeless camped on the street, no hotel in view
Your implication is that what she did is just because the voters wanted it and that is based on yet another implication that the voters knew she would do such a thing.
Using this same logic we can justify anything Trump does.
Good game.
that's what jews evolved to do
prey upon their host nation, extract wealth, then move on
Do you know how many street lights are dark in California because thieves have stolen the copper wiring and caltrans hasn't bothered to replace it? I counted about two dozen last night alone on a ten-mile drive. That sounds like a shithole to me
pro-tip: I live in OC, not Oakland, Fresno, SF, LA, etc.
(((Judges)))
punch yourself you fat nazi faggot
no you don't boris
Fuck off IDF, or you'll get an IED.
prey upon their host nation, extract wealth, then move on
Yep.
Get fucked, elmo. I mean that literally too.
punch yourself you fat nazi faggot
Your people are a far greater evil than the Nazis ever were.
Californian here. Propositions aren't laws. They go on the ballots and CAN be made into laws, or simply policies depending on what they do.
Yes, the judge struck it down as "unconstitutional". That was actually her doing her job.
Now, don't get me wrong. Here's how it should have gone:
prop 187 passes
judge deems it "unconstitutional"
it goes to the Supreme Court
Supreme Court decides it is a fair interpretation of the law, and deems it "not unconstitutional"
Because the Supreme Court made this decision, it becomes "stare decisis" or, "the law of the land" and every state adopts it as law
Now...then governor Gray Davis, seeing that it was deemed "unconstitutional" instead of pursuing it as the will of the people, instead "takes it off his desk", making it a moot point.
Why do you think he did that?
a. It was deemed "unconstitutional" and that was the end of it?
b. The democrat governor, democrat party, democrat judge and democrat voters didn't want it to go to the Supreme Court and become the law of the land?
Reminder that this judges reasoning for overturning prop 187 was because she claimed "immigration falls under federal jurisdiction", which means that sanctuary cities are illegal because they violate federal immigration law.
