Waking up on my couch at 4 am after having fallen asleep watching dawn of war 2 replays on youtube, I decided to come here to pass time before going back to my blue collar job at 6 am.
I find the thread, fill out the form and get a score of 131. Last time I did an IQ test it came out at 104, before that it was 160-something.
Do I have to fill out like 50 of these back to back and then calculate an average or what? This doesn't seem like a valid way to measure someone's intelligence.

Are you sure about that? Yes, this is a cheated score, obtained by entering all the correct answers really fast, but it shows the test isn't capped at 147 and proves you wrong.
This test is still shit thought. 20 questions is far too few, and most of them are too easy, so what happens is we're all ranked mainly on speed here.

- How fast the test is completed
- The age you entered at the start
So it’s a flawed test, not really a good indication of real IQ.
You could make it say 200 IQ if you do it fast enough with a cheat sheet on standby.

Yeah I'm really happy with it. I have MS and sometimes have difficulty with my hands because of it so I was expecting a lot worse.

A good brain activity test will not take time into account, and will either work on a real time test basis like a typing test, or it’ll be a questions based IQ evaluation without a time limit

It is 130-150, but they give you a special keyboard that makes you type even faster.
So if you’re 100wpm on a PC keyboard, youll be 150 on the court keyboard. If you’re 150 on a PC, you’ll be like 250 in court

I still think time has to be a factor, cos how else would you differentiate the people who get every answer right? This test is just too short, so time matters more than it normally would.

This test is also flawed in that the questions are the same every time lol. So you do it once, then you’re way faster the second time around.

There's not much to analyze in a multiple choice quiz, so the whole format would have to go. It could be interesting to see how an unlimited time IQ test would work, and what it might show. Quick thinking is surely part of intelligence, but so is deep thinking, and that one ain't quick. It would be nice to see a test that measures that too. Kinda like classical chess, as opposed to blitz.
I suppose the closest we have to that is just doing straight math problems. Or playing chess...
