Back from the grave. I believe last time someone asked for a dish that incorporates honey, so that's what we're doing today.
The blender isn't part of the meal, but a hint for some extras. Only if there's no mold, I hope not.

No one stole my jalapenos, I forgot where I put them, and it was too late to include them.
And assuming work goes well, I may not be as broke as usual. Meals may take on greater complexity and character with exotic ingredients.

light roux

1:1 oil or butter (or both) : flour

toast the flour the in pan medium-low until a light brown (nutty smell), stirring back and fourth (about 15'')

add oil and set aside

stuff left in the pan after doing the main dish ("fond"), add some vinegar over low heat and scrape away

combined with roux from before and add water to the desired consistency

All you need is beans and tortillas. Add butter on occasion and have a butter tortilla. With only $10 you can eat for a week if you cook well enough. This includes meat.
