Game industry has been more or less dead for a good while now. It's still functional, but since the investors and CEOs have long since seen the inevitable, they're using the corpse of the video game industry to milk as much money out of the consumers as they can. Video Games have surpassed the movie in profits, but that bubble is about to burst. Good riddance, I say. The last 15 years of mainstream game industry has been nothing but micro transactions, live service bullshit and trend-chasing mega corporations that care for nothing but profits.
And don't get me wrong, the industry has been ruthlessly capitalist since the 80s at least, but there were some standards, at least most big companies used to care for their image and thei witheld their greed from destroying everything. Now that they've seen that it's inevitable, they're going all-in. $80 video games and physical keycard games are just the beginning. They're going further than you can believe and they will not stop until it all comes crashing down under its own weight.

And I hope that happens soon, and that from the ashes rises a new golden age of indie games and piracy.

im not that 3 fag but the ultros fag, and i agree, the youtuber shit was super cringe, ava was a horrible character, mayhem mode wasnt great in 2, but 3 it was worse, the instanced DLC stuff was also pretty mediocre, also no scooter.. and like everyone was saying, too many legendaries, but you know what good is a billion guns if you just gotta farm for that one legendary you know, i hope shit changes this time around, what they showed looked pretty good so far ngl

They didn't even have the decency to kill him off in a main game. I couldn't get in to any of the classes in 3. The one I played the most was the girl with the mech. But even that got boring. I didn't try the DLC. Pre Sequel was pure garbage, I regret spending money on it. I only played it for like 15 hours.

i still have hope they bring back scooter, though at this point yeah.. i mainly played the robot dude with pets, but as usual the pets didnt really do anything, the clone dude was alright though but when i started playing him i was already bored of the game, pre seq was pretty bad compared to 2, but after 3 i bet itll seem better by comparison, the low gravity and no atmosphere shit didnt really add anything, they couldve gone wild with that, still have like 400 hours in 3 cause my buds played it, we even have like 200 in tinas..
