Huh, me too. I've never been drunk, and I never began actually drinking, but for my thirtieth birthday an ex girlfriend took me out an insisted I have wine. I had six glasses, and all it did was give me a headache, but otherwise I felt no difference.
That was the most alcohol I had ever consumed. Apart from that, I've had three bottles of beer in my life, a sip of vodka with some fruit juice in it, and a little sake.

Yeah it's just not for me. I see no reason for it; I have no desire to get drunk or even "buzzed," I don't enjoy the taste of it at all, and I view it as unhealthy.

Beer is my go to most times as well, based flavored water.
The headache is probably because of the excess sulphates and acidity stabilizers that are added on low quality wine, sometimes they even put straight sugar.
Good quality alcohol in general rarely gives you a headache.
