I'm partial to Ospreys or Harpy Eagles
Tunnel
Harpy Eagle. Apex of the Amazon. Good choice.
I'm partial to the Spotted Towhee. They are very elusive but you hear their screech, and they have red eyes. They are kind of funny in that they can scare you because they will be on the ground scattering leaves for bugs, which makes them sound like a large animal walking in the woods.
American eagle. Nothing more beautiful than freedom.
Barn owl, horned owl or the secretary birb
And the Andean condor
Redwing blackbird
they make a cool metallic sounding call too
Ospreys are one of the most badass creatures on the planet. I saltwater wade, and twice I've had them go after my stringer. First time was a speckled trout, and I had no idea what was happening when there was a giant splash right behind me. It missed the trout. Second time I had a flounder on a stringer. I saw the bird circling, but figured that since I was in about 4 feet of water it wouldn't go after the flounder stuck to the bottom. Wrong. Now when I have a fish and hear the chirp I pull it up to my hip until they fuck off. I've seen an osprey pluck a rat out of a dumpster, fly by with snakes, and I had to intervene once when my cat was sleeping in the yard as one was overhead squaring up on it.

This nigga into birds!
My favorite bird is the ovenbird, I don't know if they are known outside of South America, but they are these little birds that at first don't seem to have anything special, however what makes them really fascinating is that they build nests in the shape of a clay oven, hence their name.
Mourning dove
Based. Sound of a nice lazy morning.
Cranes, since they're so often depicted in traditional Japanese art. Seeing them makes me think of feudal Japan and samurai, and is calming to me.
Falco sparverius: fucking cute, fucking deadly
Rookeries are prehistoric af

Chickadee. Even in the dead of winter their songs and chirping will warm your soul

Alberta named the Chickadee its provincial bird. It should have been the Northern Flicker.
Nightingale. A single bird singing at night is just neat, I guess.
Good thread anon. I hope I'll get pictures of wildlife like this one day.
Patrician choice. Always watch nighthawks flying around the street lights catching bugs midair fun passtime.
magpies, their songs are beautiful.

They are basically a Dinosaur.
