just screenshot your layout. a common problem is sampler and scheduler mismatch. If using DMD2 use the sampler LCM.
it should never be 0. for DMD2 should be 1.
Also use UltimateSDUpscale.I do Hiresfix > Face Detailer > USDU

In Forge, if you drag the slider all the way to the left, it sits at 1. You can't seem to go lower than that. Even if you type 0 in the field, it switches back to 1.

that hires.fix denoising strength is very high, I've never set it that high for a biglust gen. Try putting it between 0.1 and 0.2

Your Forge UI is a bit different than mine. Did you use the 1-click install version, or did you manually install everything yourself?

It's impossible for me to set CFG Scale to 0 on my Forge, so I'm not sure why it's doing it on yours.

This seemed to help, I was lowering it but never below 0.2, that and having the Scale set to 1 probably fixed it, nice, now to work on good prompts

Just FYI, "denoise" is basically just randomness. If you want to change the original image, then you increase the denoise strength. But if you want to keep it similar to the original, then lower the denoise.

Randomness is helpful for inpainting, etc. if you want to change or add something to the original. So it does have its uses.

hires denoise should be .1-.2 using a 4xupscaler like remarcri, nmkd, or my preferred 4xfatalanime

.7 is WAY too high, that means it removes 70% of the image before upscaling hence the nightmare stuff.

scale set to 1 won't increase the resolution, try 1.25 or 1.5

also your resolution should be a supported sdxl resolution like 896x1152, 832x1216, or 1024x1024

In your Forge Lora tab where you select the loras, if you click on the little hammer/wrench tool icon at the top right of the lora frame, it will bring up a window showing all the info about it, including triggers, acceptable frame sizes, etc.

I think it depends on how the lora was trained. But you don't have to stick to any listed frame sizes. You can choose whatever sizes you want. It will just increase the chance for deformities.
