Why do a lot of boards always shit on Bully breeds?
I've worked with dozens of bullies and have not once been attacked, mauled or looked at like I was big juicy piece of sausage. These dogs are large, gentle giants that require consistent training, attention, a spacious backyard, and ample love. The mistreatment of the animal and the persistent fighting instincts instilled by irresponsible owners in their bullies contribute to their aggressive and, at times, dangerous behavior.
Some law enforcement agencies are training them as detection dogs for narcotics and explosives, and for tracking, due to their drive and tenacity.
I refuse to believe these animals are unpredictable and incredibly "dangerous", I just think they're misunderstood and not trained right. That's why they get such a bad impression.
