I give it 1 week before the gloating dies down, 1 month before the coping starts, 3-4 months before the game has a DEEP sale. Notice how all of these promo posts are "players" and not "sales". They are trying to convince the masses to hop on the bandwagon because it's a popular game, but these "players" are probably from Ubiplay or whatever their game-pass type subscription is called.

I think more people realize now days that all Ubisoft open world action games in the past decade are as wide as an ocean but as deep as a puddle. They look nice but are void of any engaging content unless you like to explore the same copy/pasted camp/temple/outpost and collect some trinkets for EXP. But then they can't make it too fun because that would mean people wouldn't spend money on the microtransactions to unlock tools, materials, or map fragments. I shit you not, they have "single player monetary strategist" or something to that effect as positions in their studio. And all of these criticism are totally separate from the cultural controversies of the game.

Mark my words, the same reaction that happened with DA Veilguard will happen here and it's already : poor numbers on Steam but hand waived away because sold on another platform, "return to form" copy pasted talking points from the corpo reviews, more and more memes stem from how bad the dialogue in the game is and how mid the story is, general NPC sentiment turns negative, corpo articles start panning the game as a failure, corpo articles start highlighting devs pointing the finger at each other, game studio fires some people. Somehow in this case EA is in a better position than Ubisoft because EA still has money and a modicum of good will with other franchises where as Ubisoft is completely fucked after this.
