How did he lose?

Be Hirohito

Has the most technologically advanced weaponry in the world like Type 30 rifles, Yamato class warships, Type 97 tanks, & A6M Zero

conquered all of East Asia by 1941.

Guerilla warfare and suicide bombs crippled American fighting forces in the Pacific theater.

Russia and America were too occupied fighting the Germans and the Italians in Africa and Europe until 1945.

How did Afghanistan and Vietnam win against an American attack? What strategies did Afghanistan and Vietnam have that Japan didn't?

Has the most technologically advanced weaponry in the world

haha

How did he lose?

By thinking the US would cave after Pearl. That was the plan, deliver a knockout blow at the start. They couldn't win a prolonged war because the US had more resources.

How did Afghanistan and Vietnam win against an American attack?

They didn't really "win". The US wasn't fighting a gloves off war like they did with Japan. It's more like what's going on in Ukraine than what's going on in Gaza (i.e. the former is constrained warfare whereas the latter is unconstrained). Also, Japan wasn't a bunch of backwards savages and had institutions that could be adapted after the US won whereas Vietnam and Afghanistan are primitive.

Why do you post this everyday? Haven't all your questions been answered by now?

Vietnam is doing ok, and it was still less primitive in 1965 than Afghanistan is today.

To be fair if America didn't have the nuke they wouldn't have won.

Japanese soldiers kill themselves whenever they make a slight mistake

American soldiers don't do that

??????

America wins

has the most technologically advanced weaponry in the world

>American soldiers don't do that

That's why they were having trouble with the land war in Japan. The Japanese fought to the death and the Americans didn't. bushido culture is the short answer. Each japanese citizen was willing to fight to the death and the allies felt that a 'boots on the ground' attempt to take the japanese mainland would result in a protracted battle of attrition so they did the deed.

It had a century of colonial rule. Also, the US didn't care to prop up South Vietnam because the Sino-Soviet split occured and helping the South had the potential to piss off the CCP.

You're retarded. The US would have won without the nukes but it would have taken much longer and more Japanese people would have died.

lol wut

Pearl Harbor wasn't that much of a success because 2 of the US aircraft carriers weren't stationed there during the attack(probably cause it was a bit less of a false flag inside job like 9/11 but was more allowed to happen and gave the US a reason to go to war)
Japan should have been more patient Hitler could have reinforced defenses, built more supplies, and trained more troops, but he also went full retard and attacked the Soviets too early and prolonged a winter invasion of Russia

Each japanese citizen was willing to fight to the dea-

*gets firebombed*

ACK!

Japan should have been more patient Hitler could have reinforced defenses

Japan was supposed to attack the Soviets Union via Manchuku and didn't. This lead to troops the Soviets had in the east being available for transfer to the front during Barbarossa which in turn lead to halting the German offensive. The Japanese were crappy allies and the axis was uncoordinated

Midway proves that God is on America's side

type 30s

You mean type 38, yes?

Japan didn't surrender after the atomic bombs fell. But by that time, U.S. bombers were within range of Tokyo. At this time, Tokyo was still a wooden city. Instead of mobilizing the third core for deployment, Tokyo was firebombed, and it burned. That was enough to compel surrender.

They dont like to talk about that because their own firebombing in china makes them look less like victims

What goes around, comes around.

Japan didn't have the most advanced weapons. Their planes weren't that great. They lost the same way Germany did, lack of supplies.

A tale as old as human history. Young officers study strategy. Senior officers study logistics. If literally run out of fuel, you've already lost.

they did not have the most technologically advanced weaponry.
zero's WERE better dogfighters until the mustang was developed. but thats it. their rifles were dogshit, and they didnt have enough.
you know their aircraft carriers were made of wood?
fucking weeb

Midway where you cheated and read their coded messages?

nooo you screen-checked

sucks to suck bro

conquered all of East Asia by 1941

That's the mentality that got the british shellshocked in wwi. They were so used to curbstomping africans armed with pointy spears that they were totally unprepared to fight germans with guns. Likewise, the japanese took over a medieval tier china easily but got their shit kicked in when people that didn't have wooden boats showed up.

manlets having the best anything

The whole pacific theatre makes no sense to me desu. Like, you have europeans fighting a total war of survival and while that's going on the americans and the japanese are shooting eachother's boats over fucking tiny islands in the middle of nowhere.

mentality that got the british shellshocked in wwi

Bullshit. Everyone went into WWI thinking they were hot shit, the British got a rude awakening at Jutland, the French were traumatised at the loss of a significant cohort of their youth in battle, the Russians ended up swallowing Marxist poison to escape the pain, the Ottomans and Austrians essential got deleted, and the Germans got their bell rung so hard they got back up and did the same again, and got fucked up even harder.

Has the most technologically advanced weaponry in the world

Japan was supposed to attack the Soviets Union

their "alliance" with germany was defensive, it was explicitly mentioned in the terms. Japan wasnt "supposed" to do anything with the soviets.

The Japanese were crappy allies and the axis was uncoordinated

They were never allies, they were merely fighting a war against a common enemy at the same time. Why the fuck would a naval power like Japan get involved in another war in asia against the soviets when they were already struggling against china? the european colonial possessions in southeast asia were pretty much undefended (UK in trouble, france and holland occupied by germany) and getting those resources was always a main war motivation for the japanese in the first place, and on top of that they are a naval power with the means to actually challenge the west there.

Everybody was expecting that the germans were gonna crush the soviets in a few months, there was literally no reason for japan to do anything.

How did Afghanistan and Vietnam win against an American attack? What strategies did Afghanistan and Vietnam have that Japan didn't?

You realise that Hanoi was not bombed by the US in the vietname war, and towns and cities in afghanistan weren't either.

The differecne between ww2 and these wars is that in ww2 we actually fought a war, in vietnam and afghanistan we played at war
Even russia isn't fighting a war, if so they could just nuke or bombard ukraine afterall.

Actually imagine how dimwitted you must be to think this is real and not propaganda which was common in ww2.
Do you really think the fuckign landing gear would make a mark like that bro. Think about the physics of that for a second

The differecne between ww2 and these wars is that in ww2 we actually fought a war, in vietnam and afghanistan we played at war

this is true. additionally, even if the US had done total war in Afghanistan, running the country would be nearly impossible given the lack of functional (by 1st world standards) government institutions and just generally shitty infrastructure

however, this

Even russia isn't fighting a war, if so they could just nuke or bombard ukraine afterall.

isn't entirely true. Russia wants to exist long enough to possess more of Ukraine, so their nukes are not an option. but, in addition to that, their strategic bomber fleet is irreplaceable at the moment. they have to stay far out of Ukraine and solely use cruise missiles, because if they get any closer they'll be shot down
russia's main problem is that they're fighting a 21st century war using late 20th century tech and mid-20th century strategic / tactical mindsets. Ukraine doesn't have the numbers that Russia has, but they've got the brains and the tech.

Vietnam was lost due to politics.
Afghanistan was lost because they employed the same successful tactics they used against the soviets in the 80s, just wait them out.
The US telegraphed everything they did in Afghanistan, and had terrible rules of engagement. Afghanistan just waited for us to beat ourselves with our own stupidity.

he thought america had 100 atomic bombs

Japan underestimated how hard the US would respond to Pearl Harbor
