Are Rolexes worth it? Seems you just greatly increase the chance of getting robbed/killed. idk if it would help at all with attracting women either

50000 dollar rolex that tells the same time as my 25 dollar gshock

oh yeah, totally worth the money lmao

are you really this stupid?

the nice thing about a rolex is that most of the models can be sold if you need to for the same if not more than what you bought them for

He is.

The Speedmaster is the greatest watch ever made. Only trans buy Rolex.

year of our lord 2025

putting expensive clocks on your wrist as status symbol

No no. Its not a waste of money at all

are you? grow up.

if it brings you joy, then get one. if not, worry about something else.

You are unable to evaluate the worth of an object beyond it's function. You sound foolish.

How else you gonna look sharp?
Stainless with blue dial and blue glass bezel Seamaster is on my lottery list. Such a sharp watch.

you think there is value beyond function. you are the ideal consumer cattle. go buy an NFT

like every fucking thing now they're actually made in China believe it or not
you can get all the parts to build one on AliExpress for like $200 or fully assembled for like $500, with literally the only difference from a real one being that you won't get a warranty

uh huh

the craftsmanship watch pedophiles deserve

help at all with attracting women

any woman looking at your wrist instead of your crotch is a high maintenance gold digger
you don't seem to have the money for that

a new 126610LN submariner costs 10.4k and sells on the used market for 12k-15k

They hold value like jewelry. There are probably better watches for this tho.

my balls hold value

how much for that? Seems money is the only way to date out of one's league

watchfags confirmed retarded

Get a Rolex if you’re trying to look polished to C Suite execs

Normal people don’t care, but they do because they’re gauging if you’re well put together or not

I can see a Rolex being an asset if you’re someone like a Mercedes car salesman or better yet luxury car salesman eg rolls Royce or anywhere else you’re talking to rich folk

Can’t see other useful applications for it other than potentially having the watches themselves as long term investments but i heard a bubble burst in that market

im rolex QA and i wrap a bunch arond my erect cock and twirl them around like a hulahoop

the bubble was mostly in obscure and expensive watches over 100k

if that were true, why don't you buy a new one, sell it as used, make 20% profit
rinse and repeat

I inherited a Rolex and a 50-year old Timex from my grandfather. I wear both pretty regularly. People comment on the Timex way more than the Rolex, for whatever that's worth.

a lot of people do that. The issue is there are only a certain amount of allotments and there is a list. It's really hard to buy a new brand new rolex from an AD. It's easy to buy a "used" one from someone else for 12k-15k. It's like buying a porsche or ferrari you can't just walk into a store and buy a gt3 you need an to be at the top of the list.

not who you're talking to, but shops are very picky who they sell those to

I dunno whether it is the best, but I like my speedmaster too. I wear it everyday. I like that it isn't too flashy and mich more subtle :)

shops are very picky who they sell those to

so picky they sell them for less than a used copy

I like mine a lot too it's not overly priced it's a handsome watch. I know some people think manual watches suck but I like winding mine every morning.

covers 95% of your wrist dude

Yeah, cuz no girl will give you a pity lay

Yeah I don't mind too. However I think it's weird that a watch like this is not automatic. But I guess it makes me feel i bit more attached to the watch. Also I like the open backcase where I van see all the machanics.

it literally fits him perfectly lol

You can buy an automatic version it just costs a little bit more money. Most people get the manual w/ hesalite because it's the one that went to space. You have the "sapphire sandwich" which is meant to be a little of both.

Are Rolexes worth it?

It's a watch.

Yeah, well, I guess you're right. The thing is that I am lazy as fuck. I work at an office, and when I get home I have two small kids to take care of. So any time beside this is spend in the couch :(

You can get a fake for $50 that would fool everybody you’re trying to impress and perform the task of telling the time just as well, if not better.

Just ask yourself if you’d still wear it if nobody would ever know you were wearing it.

What is the automic version called? (Model no/name)

$10.98 at Wal Mart
Still going strong 11 years later, never changed the battery yet

I specifically said it would be to attract women (out of my league). I'm bored of looksmatched average chicks

Girls don't care one bit. Also if you tell people you have an expensive watch you're a douche. It needs to be a silent marker, and you only buy the watch to enjoy for yourself :)

hmmm i was pretty sure there was an automatic reference that came out but i can't find it. I know there was an older automatic called the speedmaster reduced. Maybe I was wrong.

I was told this was the original and "full version", where if I wanted the automatic, it was a cheaper version (except if you are looking into special versions). Also I was told the automatic was discontinued.

I really like the hesalite crystal myself but honestly there's not a huge difference

Agree. Very tiny differences. Basicly they're the same :)

Watches are to men what purses are to women.
They're mostly there to show off to other people who are impressed by said thing in the first place.
If you're not a watch guy, you'd think it's retarded to spend thousands of dollars on a watch or a purse as the price doesn't justify the utility.
Which is why I solely collect and curate exquisite hand-crafted Fabergé eggs.

Grand Seiko laughs in your face. Just kidding. I'd take either over any Rolex.
