Here's a problem that happened to me. Pulled into Lowes parking lot and there was an open space in a row of cars. Except someone had parked over the line, so the next car did, and the next, and the next. By the time I parked, I was straddling the line (by half a car) but looking at the row, everything seemed fine. An hour later I come out, a lot of the cars are gone and I have a note on my car saying I park like an asshole.

If you really want to fuck someone over you put a fresh cow turd on the roof of their car with ample time to react with the paint and metal.
They will try to get it repainted, and it will fail cause after a while paint will discolour. Only way to fix this is remove the affected metal plating and replace it. Which is impossible without affecting structural integrity of the car. Hence why you put it on the roof and not the hood.
