In the 19th century white Europeans were preferred over other races when coming to the US, in fact white Europeans were given free land in order to settle here allowing them to earn generational wealth. Blacks were largely excluded.

Blacks were again excluded and Jim Crow and later redlining were built to keep them down. Black neighborhoods were also obliterated to create freeways and public facilities destroying what little generational wealth black Americans were able to build post slavery while they also had little access to good jobs and loans. Because property taxes are still the way we fund our schools, black neighborhoods have poorly funded schools and a lack of access to a good education is the number one indicator of getting into college. If you don't believe me, go ahead and enroll your child into a majority black district. Go ahead. Prove me wrong.
Asian Americans didn't face these challenges, although they had some discrimination, they didn't face Jim Crow and redlining like black Americans and many of them immigrated after these systems were dismantled in the late 1960s and since we prioritized skilled and educated laborers after the 1960s most Asians who immigrated to the US came with college degrees or were here to pursue a higher education. This is absolutely nothing like what black Americans experienced.
Meanwhile Hmong, Laotian, Cambodian and Vietnamese Americans still face discrimination and poverty and lack of access to a good education because these people came to the US not as educated skilled workers, but as refugees.

Yes Dawkins is a scientist so of course he's going to discuss religion with respect to its material claims. He wouldn't have such fertile territory to explore were it not for the fact that religions often do make material claims about the universe or, at the very least, they have a large number of believers who interpret their faiths in such a way.
You simultaneously criticize him having insufficient knowledge outside his field yet demand his arguments attain an unbounded breadth so as to encompass more diverse interpretations of religion. Now satisfying one surely means betraying the other, no? You admit no plausible criteria in which Dawkins' argument can satisfy you or even be evaluated by you as substantive because you have a puerile hostility towards his existence. In short, you're arguing in bad faith.
It's also worth nothing that defining a narrow bounds for a conversation is scholarly practice. If you don't agree with the material claims put forward by most religions then Dawkins' criticism should mean nothing to you. If anything, you should appreciate it, as it may drive away the more clownish adherents who tend to detract from everyone else.
