And that's about-ish where one ended for the moments, the Injuns were RIP'd and we were just stabilizing the lines there, then one was trying to hold off the invadings from the seas and the western bit there, but it seemed to be working!

I'm gonna give them time and hopefully they let me know asoon as the decisions are made. They're only able to keep a few of us. They don't seem particularly happy about it either.

Idk maybe. They sounded pretty sure on everything though.
Honestly the part I'm most upset about might be quitting the Thc part I've really enjoyed such things in moderation of course.
I realized very quickly at this job that they could get rid of me without much changing and I guess the company realized it as well. So not that big of a surprise that this happened.
I think the plan right now is to hope I get the spot on the other team, and if I do I can take my time looking for something better down the road when I want to do so, maybe after I finish this programming course stuff which looks like it will take several more months to do so. Though I did manage to knock out an entire section today.

But the fren does have some sort of planning set up there, it's just... one wishes for a spot to be obtained by he which can be secured and then obtain ALL of the buckarinos which he does need to afford all of those other heckings that are often put on he!
Then he can kick everyone out and change the locks and NEVER let them back in, he can even hire fellows to do the lawn stuffs for he!
I don't know if all of this is the case to be fair, but I do think that one will do a doing and as long as he keeps doing, the stuffs will take off that much more!
It's an involved process to be sure, but he just needs to keep at it and perfect the craft!
As for me though, I would say that it's a day of adequate existences which is something and one does pray it's at least the same if not much, much better for he!

So after a few more mental breakdowns and almost starving, we did get a 3rd pawn.
She refuses to do any hard labor and is nearly useless, but can clean and do research which is enough.

I also had a group of ducks arrive and self tame and I had no idea how to take care of them so half of them either wandered off, died, or I had to eat them to survive.
Just assume I'm having a mental breakdown in between all these updates. My only job is to grow the rice and cook it mind you.

Well, he might've secured a few of them for the foods and he can put them in a comfy pond or something like in the mining vidya!
I think that the sight of those ducks would help bolster the fren's mentals a fair bit and then he might be able to make the rices that much more effectively!
We had a group of traders come through, I bought whatever food they had and one of them had a heart attack and died and they just hecking left him.
WE also discovered that rose is willing to hunt wild critters. Problem is she's a terrible shot and will spend all her waking hours, which is all night as shes a night owl, just randomly firing her gun. I made her focus on research instead.
We also had a boomrat decide it wanted to join the colony as well. I had no idea what it was but realized why it was called boom. I marked him to be released back into the wild, but nobody cared to do it and he just roamed around.
B-But that means he can use his necromantic powers to bring him back!
Or at least, he could train on him to attempt to bring him back so that way he can bring back the fren when he's perfect the DARK MAGIKS!
I would hope they left behind a fair bit of his loots as well since they couldn't carry all of it, the more the fren has to help survive, the better!

In the meantime while wristfren was fighting his mental demons trying to collect enough food for us to not starve I've had old man leaderfren building. A hospital, better barracks, a dining room and walk-in freezer, and a jail. For a crippled old man hes probably the most productive out of everyone.
A traveler saw our prosperity or stuggle one and decided to join up as well. He's not particularly good at anything but hes willing to help with everything. I put him on food duty.
ANOTHER fellow wants in?!
Well, maybe he'll be a better shooting in the end and they can do the defenses when he's doing some practice shoots in the fields!
What I do know is that the fren seems to be the most capable around with fighting the internal demons AND keeping the settlement alive, without his guidance then everyone would be lost as hecking!
Not long after another raider showed up and I didn't realize leaderfrens dog was outside. Luckily this new guy was no match for the doggo. Since I just finished the prison and he had good stats I decided to imprison him to try and heal him up for recruitment.

What a peculiar name as well, but they nearly RIP'd as they lived with being an odd character!
I do hope that there can be a tortures or two done as well so then that way the informationals can be obtained on these raiding folks!
While they tended to him I had them finally build some crafting stations and such. Now we can make clothing and weapons provided we have the resources to do so.
At some point not pictured the beer finally started producing and I set it up so wristfren can get 1 beer a day. It seems to have worked well enough to stop his breakdowns.
T-This is quite the total for the starting off of a thingy of course!
I don't know if it's as important as the rices, but perhaps you can even make MORE of the sips and use it for the trades!
Then he can secure even MORE shooty-guns to use against the baddies who might try to do a re-attackings!

It took a few days but he did manage to recover from his mauling and decide to join the colony. He's a good researcher as well so thats what I have him doing mainly. ALso a good hunter which helped us once winter came on. I had to scramble to get the crops pulled before they died and hunt some more animals for meat and to make warm clothes for everyone. We got real close to starving but managed to pull through.
and thats where I'll leave off. Now that we're kinda stable the plan is to research geothermal and capture the vent to the south to help power everything. After that I might have to beef up our defenses some more and maybe get some aquaponics going to help with food. I keep getting quests to go get some nice items so maybe that will be the goal soon.
We got real close to starving but managed to pull through.
Now just what in the hecks...
See, this is where I thought the rices might be more pressing of a matter than the sippings!
But a survival was done and a whole new season is around the corner for the doings there where the entire settlement will be expanding rather nicely!
Then one can work on the flying machines at some point and start bombing the raider camps in the wilderness so we're all that much safer!

I think it was partly not growing enough and also the cold snap killed some of the plants. I didn't realize we were so low as it didn't ding me. I think the beer made the game think we were good on food.
It was only for a day before the rice was ready to harvest again but they were grabbing raw meat off the shelf to eat before I could even cook it.

There are such things but I have to do alot of researching to get there. The geothermal was a big research project even with two people doing it.
I think the plan is to get everyone a better gun and armor and maybe expand the entrance with some turrets and stuff, So far its only sent me one raider at a time but I'm sure that'll change before too long.

The fren is not used to the cold times I suppose...
He's more used to the gators and what not running around in the yard so he forgot that the foods don't like the colds all too much!
Well, lessons learned and it wasn't as much of a DISASTER as some of those other settlements had back in the day with the winters, so now they'll be prepared for the subsequent wintering times!

If one has learned anything from the Factorials, it's not a terrible idea in the least!

different cheeses have different flavors and some cheese pair up nice with the canned chilis with the meat and beans and other cheeses are good with the chips and other cheeses are good straight.
but yeah. the cheeses on the burgers can be their own kind too.

I don't know how many of the fellows partake in such foods on a regular basis though, they might just have it at the Chili's location at most!
for some reason garlic and onions really affect me bad. i really like that garlic taste and i am not sure i can ever have it again.

Mayhaps this is because his Alchemical skills isn't high enough or something to know all of the affects of the potions!
I would think that's part of it...
But a lesson has been learned once more and he'll now put some more of the points into that, maybe find a training fellow as well!
Perhaps when he does an alchemical learning, he might disable the stressings effects as well!
