It's also a fucking godamn imbecile thought to say "just be a man and shave it". If you can get honesty from any bald man in the face of the earth, they would all kill to have hair.
Having said that, you are at a good point to do 2 things. First, take Finasteride to stop your DHT hormone from getting more hair to fall. This will take time, just like going to the gym. Give it 8 months and take it as a vitamin for your hair. Eventually, your hair loss will come to a stop. Disclaimer: there are 2 downsides of this -> the moment you stop taking Finasteride, it's game for DHT again and your hair will fall and if you intend to have kids, Finasteride is not recommended due to potential fetus undevelopment.
Second, take Minoxidil. Minoxidil is a vasodilation drug that can be taken both topically (creams and sprays) or orally (pill-size). Minoxidil will help you pump more blood to your hair follicles, which will result in thicker hair. Similar to Finasteride, you need to religiously take this bastard every day of your life if you want to keep your hair. It will shed during months 4-6 but eventually it will all fill up nicely.

To answer your question, the first step is getting the treatment. Keeps, Ro, Hims, any of those internet vendors you see on TV ads will get you hooked up with the meds. You just send some pictures, have a virtual chat with an e-doctor, and bam... meds delivered to your doorstep. It's somewhere around $100 for a 3-month supply. I started with them, ended up buying Minoxidil at Costco since it's cheaper and got the formula prescribed by my sister to get refills at Costco for Finasteride.
